My name is Gabriella and I am a registered social worker (MSW, RSW), psychotherapist, certified perinatal mental health provider (PMH-C) and consultant. I am also a member of The Ontario Association of Social Workers.

I have over ten years combined experience working with individuals with disabilities and complex medical conditions, individuals in the perinatal period, as well as mental health concerns.

I have experience working with parents who have children with disabilities/medical complexities/ prematurity. In addition, as a disability affirmative therapist, I also work with adolescents and adults with both congenital and acquired disabilities.

With regard to supervision in your clinical practice, I utilize the CLEAR supervision model in combination with strengths based, solution focused coaching. 
I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, or families who need support related to physical and psychological issues that are connected to: 
  • reproductive and maternal mental health including: abortion, pregnancy, adoption, post-partum, perinatal loss, birth trauma, fertility issues and more 
  • life transitions
  • grief and bereavement
  • parenthood for individuals with disabilities including physical, intellectual, learning and/or episodic disabilities
  • coping and adjusting to change
  • anxiety and depression
  • relationship challenges including premarital concerns, separation, divorce, infidelity
  • parents/caregivers of children who experience prematurity/disability/complex medical needs
